WhatsApp Preparing to Implement Fingerprint Authentication
WhatsApp has recently rolled out a beta update with version 2.19.3 which give strong essence that WhatsApp is working on fingerprint authentication feature that will make an additional protection to WhatsApp user data in addition of end to end encryption which is best protection as of now.
Is there anyone, who doesn't
afraid of leaking of data or what if it has been stolen? I mean to say that
everyone wants to upgrade their protection in today digital world. In the path,
WhatsApp has been going to implement most used authentication way to unlock
their app- That’s fingerprint authentication for Android OS.
WhatsApp has recently rolled out a beta update with version 2.19.3 which give strong essence that WhatsApp is working on fingerprint authentication feature that will make an additional protection to WhatsApp user data in addition of end to end encryption which is best protection as of now.
It would be expected that
this feature may come with the next WhatsApp update. Under Privacy, there will
be an addition of Authentication from where users can enable the fingerprint
authentication feature for their WhatsApp. This will be then must to have that authentication
to open the app or even any conversation. It is also rumored that WhatsApp is
working on Face ID and Touch ID authentication for iOS.
This new feature is
currently under development and this will be made available for Android
Marshmallow or above running devices have fingerprint sensor. This would be a very
important feature for those who wants to keep their chats private and now they can
lock any of their chat.
WhatsApp is also working on audio
picker feature and there will be a newly designed section to list all your available
audio files in device. User can also check them by playing them from there
while they are sending to the next one. Users can also send multiple files from
there.
